Fennel seeds have many uses and is used in both culinary dishes and as a digestive aid. The seeds which are aromatic, with a slightly sweet and pungent flavor is used in a variety of Mediterranean and Ayurvedic dishes, they are also used to flavor liqueurs such as gin and absinthe.
Fennel seeds can be added to vegetable dishes, especially dishes sauteed; used in herbal tea blends or tinctures for digestive support or eaten raw as a snack (in moderation).
